Extreme Protection Built to Last
The Altelix NF162012P Series Enclosures are designed with all the same rugged components as the NF201612 Series enclosures but feature a sideways opening door. This makes these enclosures ideal for locations not suitable for taller enclosures. This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. These enclosures feature improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins for lasting durability in even the harshest of coastal conditions. The gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.
This JIC style enclosure is dent-proof, corrosion resistant and UV stable. The FRP material is non-conductive and RF transparent. It is suitable for use in the harshest outdoor environments. It can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.
Increased Interior Space
The NF162012 series enclosures feature an extra deep lid, over 3 inches deep. With the generous size of this enclosure and extended lid the NF162012P can accommodate a wide range of equipment as well as 19" wide equipment racks. Six raised bosses with threaded brass inserts are provided inside the enclosure for mounting equipment plates and equipment brackets.
Aluminum Equipment Mounting Plate
This enclosure features an easy to drill aluminum equipment mounting plate. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.
