Hammond CHKO series junction boxes provide NEMA Type 1 protection for indoor electrical wiring and junction applications. A full-swing hinged door and slotted quarter-turn latch provide convenient access, with knockouts on all four sides for cable entry.
- Spot-welded mild steel construction: 16 gauge for sizes up to 30 x 24 inches and 14 gauge for the 36 x 24 inch sizes.
- ANSI 61 gray powder-coated finish.
- Wall-mounting holes in the back and an embossed grounding location.
- UL 50 Type 1, CSA Type 1 and IEC 60529 IP20.
