  The Altelix NFC161608VFHA1 Heated and Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 120VAC Power and Equipment Mounting Plate is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. Equipment designed for indoor use can now be located outside.
  
  Construction and Features
  This rugged enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The lockable door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure and is locked and unlocked using the included removable keys. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is wet.
  
  Bonus Aluminum Bottle Opener Key
  This enclosure now includes our HN-0008 Aluminum Bottle Opener Key. This heavy duty aluminum door locking key easily attaches to most key chains. And it makes a great bottle opener too!
  
  Power
  This configuration consists of the fiberglass NEMA enclosure with hinged lid and a equipment mounting plate with two pre-wired 120VAC power outlets. The outlet box is easily removable to facilitate wiring to an external power source.
  
  Cooling Fan Ventilation
  This enclosure features dual 4" vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). The fan is wired internally so it does not require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for internal equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure, and the internal aluminum mesh filters are removable for cleaning. For applications which require the cooling fan to turn on at a lower temperature, this enclosure is also available with a 85°F (30°C) turn-on thermostat. With this option the fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 85°F (30°C) and turns off when it drops to 59°F (15°C).
  
  Heater
  Ideal for cold environments, this model also features a thermostat controlled 200W heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature reaches 43°F (6°C) and turns off when it rises to 59°F (15°C). The heater is situated below the mounting plate and wired internally so it does not interfere with user installed equipment or require the use of the AC outlets. An insulated extreme cold weather model is also available with a 400W heating system.
  
  Equipment Mounting Plate
  The equipment mounting plate is provided for mounting and securing equipment. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.
  
  Cable Glands
  The enclosure features our unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal. They are installed in the open ports to maintain the NEMA rating of the enclosure when not in use. When required for use, simply punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal. To provide power to the enclosure a 1/2" Liquid-Tight fitting as well as a PG16 Cable Gland are included.
  
  Mounting
  Four mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure.
