The Hammond HWCF sealing and filter kit reduces dust entry into compatible HWC and HLP wall-mount rack cabinets. It includes gasket material, filter grilles, blanking components, mounting hardware, and hole plugs for sealing and filtered ventilation.
Compatibility and configuration
- Compatible with Hammond HWC and HLP cabinets.
- Not compatible with vented front doors. For HWC, select a matching solid or tinted-window door, or the supported 12U filter-fan-door configuration.
- Required companion kit for the HWC positive-pressure filter-fan-door configuration.
- Active cooling fans are separate. This kit alone does not supply powered cooling.
Hammond describes the installed system as helping achieve IP5X dust protection. This is not a water-protection or outdoor-use rating. Follow the cabinet and kit installation instructions.
