Hammond RB-DC cabinets provide an assembled, enclosed 19-inch rack for server, network and IT equipment. Choose 24U or 42U capacity with a nominal 24-inch-wide by 42-inch-deep footprint, adjustable square-hole rails and a black powder-coated steel finish.

Included with each cabinet

  • Locking perforated front door and split rear doors.
  • Locking, removable split side panels.
  • Two pairs of adjustable-depth EIA-310 square-hole mounting rails and starter mounting hardware.
  • Integrated vertical PDU/cable-management trays, removable vented top with cable entry, and an open bottom.
  • Recessed casters, adjustable leveling feet and cabinet joining hardware.

Equipment fit

Usable equipment depth is 30.20 inches with the PDU tray installed, or 35.38 inches without the PDU tray. Check the equipment body, connectors, cable bend space and required front-to-rear rail spacing before selecting shelves or equipment rails. Nominal cabinet depth is not usable equipment depth.

The cabinet has a published 2,200 lb equipment-load rating. Refer to Specifications for the selected size and Downloads for Hammond’s current series specification sheet.

Optional solid top

The RB-DCST42 solid top panel fits both current RB-DC cabinet sizes and is sold separately. The standard cabinet includes a vented top; verify cooling and cable-routing needs before changing the top panel.
